HESTIA - The National Volunteer Center

takes a part in the VOLUNTEERNET- a network of volunteer centres in Central and Eastern Europe, the Baltic and Eurasia, it is a member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters International, of the international volunteer organization IAVE, and of several other similar bodies CEV, ENYMO a VOLONTEUROPE.

The basic matter is to publicize and support main ideas of volunteering.

The centers established database of the organizations, which are interested to use the volunteers and also the database of people, which are interested for voluntary work.

The centers prepare also seminars and trainings for organizations and volunteers.

Except basic operations realize the centers own projects and activities after local conditions and requirements in the Czech Republic.
