HESTIA - The National Center of Volunteers start with program - volunteering in the schools with pilot project "Evolution of human virtues" in terms of program GABRIEL.
The program GABRIEL declared by"The evolution of human virtues foundation" (NROS) finantial cared by ROBERT BOSCH STIFTUNG and realized by HESTIA and AGNES.
The main goal of this program is to support the evolution of children between 6 and 20 years. The program is based on cooperation and interchange of experiences with partners organizations in Germany, Polen and Slovakia in terms of international foundation network (International Youth Foundation).
The Gabriel program propose in acceptable way to bring near to young people possibilities, which are in nonprofitable sector and to help them in participating on voluntary and donoring activities, or starting with own projects.
The program is for young people between 14 - 20 years, pedagogues and all others. During the first year we will start with exercises, seminars and supervisions for students and pedagogues. The students will practice theirs possibilities in voluntary care, and we will offer them to work in many nonprofitable organizations.
The program Gabriel include cooperation with partners in Germany, Poland and Slovakia. This program will also offer for students the possibility of voluntary work in foreing countries in terms of The European voluntary service program.
HESTIA - NVC is the main coordinator of this project in the Czech Republic a realized it in Prague. In other cities will also take part on this project (Usti n. Labem, Brno, Ceske Budejovice, and others).
